Today is Monday again and im holding down my usual spot at the front desk.  We had a great weekend at the Grayling Christmas Walk and Xbox Competition at TrustFall Records.  The competition was fair and everyone semed to be having a good time. Account Executive, Becky Knepper, and myself decorated the radio station with plenty of festive holiday decorations so our stop on the torlley line was extra holiday groovy.  Listeners had a chance to record holiday greetings and get a tour of the radio station.  Its Thanksgiving week and i hope everyone is ready to stuff their bellies with good grub and knock some holiday shopping out ... Black Friday weekend is coming up lace your shoes up tight and get ready to run to the sales ... especially to businesses you hear about on The-Q!!!

After toughing out a looonnggg weekend of the flu, im worn out but ready to face the challenges of the week.  I realize today from a fellow co-worker that my show did not go as poorly as i thought it went.  I sat in the studio with a blanket wrapped around me because i had the chills and just could not get warm.  I toughed through though , I got people their Sunday's requests.  It was a bit tougher than i would have imagined but i feel i made through strongly.  

Well it's Monday here at Blarney Stone and im holding down my usual position of vigil building watch.  After a grueling Halloween weekend of doing things that were only relaxing ( Nothing of any holiday or social involvment) I was able to work on being a better talent.  Sunday presented me with the opportunity to continue to improve  in the area of my career that is most important to me, being and on-air talent.  Being that my shift is on Sundays from noon-6pm, and we carry Lions football on our station, lately i havent been able to be on air as much.  Being on-air yesterday though was something my week defintely needed.  Playing your requests and making your day better by playing the songs you hardly ever hear or just the ones you love, makes my day-heck my whole week-  better ...Much Love ....
