So happy B-day to the hippest, grooviest radio morning man in the game!!!  JJ turns the big 34 today and we celebrate birthdays in style around here.  Cakes, tiaras, banners, streamers , and rock and roll .... Thats how we do B-days at the Q!!!!

IM so excited today .. why you ask? Well it's because its only a matter of days before i get to bring your requests and the most awesome tunes of the week to you for an entire Six Hours on Sunday!!! Also this weekend will be the Radio Play "A Christmas Carol".  Tune in and check out this Dickens classsic being performed at Kirtland Community College's Center for the Performing Arts. Bringing all of us back to time when technology was justbeginning to reshape society, and people would crowd around their radios for whatever radio program was on that evening.  This performance will defintely be something special and seems to be somethingthat will put the listeners on break from space and time, and just relax and enjoy the wonderful imagery painted in their heads by the spectacular performances of the actors and whole crew working on the play.  Sorry if i rambled about that for a second but i was assisting in working out the soundconnection from the college to homebase Q Studio.  Once we worked out the bugs we got a wonderful quality of sound and are ready to bringthe show to the masses.  Come out and see the show in person too if you would like its only $5 and there's a very good chance you can meet some of the Q-Talent -- JJ and Myself will be there for sure, but you never know who will show up from our squad.  happy Thursday -- Much Love .... Today is Monday again and im holding down my usual spot at the front desk.  We had a great weekend at the Grayling Christmas Walk and Xbox Competition at TrustFall Records.  The competition was fair and everyone semed to be having a good time. Account Executive, Becky Knepper, and myself decorated the radio station with plenty of festive holiday decorations so our stop on the torlley line was extra holiday groovy.  Listeners had a chance to record holiday greetings and get a tour of the radio station.  Its Thanksgiving week and i hope everyone is ready to stuff their bellies with good grub and knock some holiday shopping out ... Black Friday weekend is coming up lace your shoes up tight and get ready to run to the sales ... especially to businesses you hear about on The-Q!!!

After toughing out a looonnggg weekend of the flu, im worn out but ready to face the challenges of the week.  I realize today from a fellow co-worker that my show did not go as poorly as i thought it went.  I sat in the studio with a blanket wrapped around me because i had the chills and just could not get warm.  I toughed through though , I got people their Sunday's requests.  It was a bit tougher than i would have imagined but i feel i made through strongly.  

Well it's Monday here at Blarney Stone and im holding down my usual position of vigil building watch.  After a grueling Halloween weekend of doing things that were only relaxing ( Nothing of any holiday or social involvment) I was able to work on being a better talent.  Sunday presented me with the opportunity to continue to improve  in the area of my career that is most important to me, being and on-air talent.  Being that my shift is on Sundays from noon-6pm, and we carry Lions football on our station, lately i havent been able to be on air as much.  Being on-air yesterday though was something my week defintely needed.  Playing your requests and making your day better by playing the songs you hardly ever hear or just the ones you love, makes my day-heck my whole week-  better ...Much Love .... Well well well, its Thursday.  Im sitting at my usual weekday location at , what i like to call , my command center. A front , midddle of the action "battle-station" of a desk, where I miantain vigil watch on everything (Being head of security like details- Ocular patdowns are a MUST. CRIMINALS BEWARE).

But as you know i hold down the reigns of the Sunday weekend request show and it looks like this Sunday i will be ON ( Which I just found out about 15 minutes ago)!!! So, get your requests ready and get plan for an awesome show.   Anyway much love to Q-Nation, YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!
