The Northern Michigan Public Health Alliance is hosting a round table discussion an opportunity for elected officials and candidates for office.

Everyone is invited to attend a Chicken BBQ Dinner on Thursday, July 19th from 4-6pm at the Crawford County Commission on Aging and Senior Center. Menu includes BBQ Chicken, Potato Salad, Corn on Cob, Watermelon, and assorted Desserts. The meal is only $5.00 for those under age 60 with a suggested donation of $3.00 for people 60 and over. Dinner is open to the public and no reservations are required. The Commission on Aging & Senior Center is located at 308 Lawndale Street in Grayling. From wrecks found in the Straits of Mackinac Shipwreck Preserve to those found at Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary, the Great Lakes share volumes of history about how people have settled and developed the Midwest. See a photographic journey of some of these destinations in this presentation by Jennifer Idol. Jennifer Idol is the first woman to dive 50 states, author of An American Immersion, and a PADI Ambassadiver. She is a member of the Ocean Artist’s Society and a graphic designer. Her award-winning photography and articles have been widely published in periodicals such as DIVER, SCUBA Diving, Alert Diver and Sport Diver. She has been diving for 24 years and earned more than 29 certifications.
