The Grayling Enhancement Committee (GEC), along with the Grayling Promotional Association Beautification Committee and the Grayling Main Street Design Committee, have partnered with the City of Grayling to organize a community-wide clean-up day on Saturday, June 2nd, from 9am - noon. The GEC anticipates mobilizing over 100 volunteers to participate in The Great Grayling Community Cleanup. Groups of volunteers will spend the morning doing small outdoor projects at pre-identified residences within the City of Grayling including light yard work, small outdoor repairs, and planting. Additionally, City of Grayling residents showing a current water bill along with a drivers license will be able to utilize dumpsters, on-site shredding, and make on-site donations free of charge as a way to further clean up our community. Dumpsters, on-site shredding, and a Habitat for Humanity ReStore donation truck will be located in the City-owned parking lot behind the former Shoppenagon’s. Residents can pick up forms requesting assistance from the Grayling Regional Chamber of Commerce, Tip'n the Mitten, Crawford County Commission on Aging & Senior Center, The City of Grayling, Jansen Insurance, Kirtland Grayling Bookstore, Matt LaFontaine Automotive, or online https://goo.gl/forms/QFoOujoiYlHerLnm1.
