April Community Meetings for Joint Land Use Study - Camp Grayling & Alpena CRTC
NEMCOG will host two community meetings in April for area residents with concerns about or interest in the various impacts that military training missions at Camp Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center (JMTC) and Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center (CRTC) may have on surrounding local communities. These meetings are a follow up to the public meetings NEMCOG hosted in June and October as part of the ongoing Joint Land Use Study (JLUS) being funded by the Office of Economic Adjustment (US Department of Defense) and the State of Michigan. At these meetings, draft strategies will be available for review in an open house format and the public will be given the opportunity to select their top strategy choices.
The Grayling Community JLUS Meeting will take place on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Ramada Grayling Hotel, 2650 I-75 Business Loop Grayling, Michigan 49738.
