This White Pine event donates $5 of every entry to the Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation. Over
$100,000 has been raised to date, and it is a point of pride of all those associated with the event.
After the race, participants are welcome to join the Short's Brewing Company Cool Down party and
Awards Ceremony beginning at 1:30pm in the Summit Center at Shanty Creek Resort, which features
$2 Short's beer, good food, and a slideshow presentation and awards.
