Walk to End Alzheimer's - Traverse City

Walk to End Alzheimer's is at the Open Space in Traverse City on Saturday, October 1st. Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest fundraiser for Alzheimer's care, support and research. Grayling's Harvest Festival

From 10:00AM to 3:00PM

Grayling Main Street is hosting the Harvest Festival along Michigan Avenue in downtown Grayling on Saturday, October 1 from 10-3 pm. The event features farm market stands, an antique tractor show, bounce houses and cookie decorating. A wagon ride will be provided for festival goers to and from the downtown area to the elementary school to the Grayling Promotional Association’s annual Arts & Crafts Show.

Fabulous Fantastic Fun Fall Frolic

From 10:00AM to 8:00PM

Merchants in the downtown Grayling district are hosting the Fabulous Fantastic Fun Fall Frolic on October 1 from 10-3 pm. The event highlights in-store events and sales in multiple stores, including The Old Lumberyard Shoppes, AuSable Gifts, North Country Corner, White Pine & Petals, The Curator, Main Branch Gallery, Ron’s Fly Shop, Tip’n the Mitten, Rotten Princess Records, and AuSable Artisan Village. The Frolic coincides with Grayling Main Street’s Harvest Festival in downtown Grayling and the Grayling Promotional Association’s annual Arts & Crafts show at the Grayling Elementary School.

Fall Grant Cycle - Roscommon

The Roscommon County Community Foundation awards grants to nonprofits and exempt organizations. Our Fall Grant Cycle is open for grant submissions until October 3rd @ 3pm. The RCCF awards grants to nonprofits that serve Roscommon County and that are involved in arts and culture, education, community development, environment, animal welfare, public safety and youth development- among others.
