Account Executive – Outside Sales

WKLT 97.5 / WKLZ 98.9 / WQON 100.3 / WFCX 94.3 / WFDX 92.5 / WSRJ 105.5 / WSRT 106.7/ WGRY 101.1 / AM 1230 WMQU are seeking creative, energetic, highly focused outside sales people who pride themselves on creative problem solving. This team player with a positive attitude will sell integrated marketing campaigns, including on-air commercials, on-line digital assets and station events. They will grow existing business and generate new business through prospecting, cold calling, face to face appointments and developing effective marketing campaigns designed to achieve client objectives.
Essential duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Prospect and research new accounts, customer needs analysis, cold calling, manage and grow existing accounts, develop relationships with clients by providing top quality service, prepare presentations and campaign recaps, achieve sales budgets, and collect on accounts.
This outside sales role will primarily focus on identifying, cultivating, and closing business opportunities to a variety of different types of businesses.
Identify key decision-makers and understand the business objectives and advertising strategies of clients and find ways to help them achieve their objectives through effective advertising solutions designed to fit their needs.
Create and deliver powerful and persuasive presentations to key decision makers.
Conduct face-to-face presentations, and closing opportunities to drive revenue and hit overall business revenue goals. Lead in the development of client contract negotiations through the close, renewal and collection of business.
Exceptional oral and written communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint programs and be willing to learn radio specific software.
Excellent organizational and time management skills along with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
A valid driver’s license and a vehicle with proof of insurance.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma required
Sales Experience Preferred
