  All Day Student Entrepreneurship Grant Application DUE  
The Region 3 Collaborative Development Council (CDC) is excited to announce a youth program that will help demystify entrepreneurship. The CDC is seeking education and training partners who are interested in helping to provide middle and/or high school students with an experiential learning opportunity that would begin this fall. The CDC, through the Immersive Student Entrepreneurship Grant will be awarding $20,000 of seed funding for participating schools as well as working with successful local entrepreneurs to provide further support and assistance. Each eligible applicant may apply for up to $5,000 of funding. At this time, we expect to award four grants of $5,000 each. Proposals are due by 5PM on July 14th, 2018, and applicants will be notified of their award no later than August 1st, 2018. Funds will be provided no later than September 1st, 2018.

The Black Bear Gran Fondo  bike race is Saturday, July 14th. This is the eighteenth year that the Grayling rotary club has organized a Black Bear event. Race the 100 mile loop, 62 mile loop or 45 mile loop. All starting and ending at Hanson Hills. Registration starts at 7am and first race is at 8am. Rehydration stations sponsored by Faygo. The Mesick area goes from logging in 1889 to farming in 1929. Come see what kind of implements farmers used in the past to accomplish their objectives--from canthooks to pitch forks. If you have a unique tool to show, bring it along and share your story.

We are a 501c3 organization.Registration starts at 10am kickstands up at 11am. Ride starts at the Green Lantern Bar and Grill Alba MI and finishes at Mount Mancelona. $25 a person. This will cover your poker hand and dinner at the end of the ride. There will also be 50/50 raffle, silent auction, Drinks and entertainment. All proceed go to our Michigan Veterans.

The Rotary Club of East Jordan is hosting its annual BrewFest in East Jordan
Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 2-9 PM in downtown East Jordan in Memorial Park under the big tent.
BrewFest will feature craft and domestic beer, wine, live music, and food trucks.
 
There will be live performances by Lou Thumser (2-3 PM), The Mickeys (3:30-5:30 PM), and Full Circle (6:00 to 9:00 PM). Tommy Tropic and Just Us Four, a classic barbershop quartet, will also be providing entertainment.
 
Admission is $5 per person and children under 12 are free. Kids of all ages are welcome during this family-friendly event.

Imperial Wrestling Entertainment teams up with Relay For Life as we declare war on cancer! Join us for a night of action as we debut in Grayling, MI to fight for the cure!
