  All Day Student Entrepreneurship Grant Application DUE  
The Region 3 Collaborative Development Council (CDC) is excited to announce a youth program that will help demystify entrepreneurship. The CDC is seeking education and training partners who are interested in helping to provide middle and/or high school students with an experiential learning opportunity that would begin this fall. The CDC, through the Immersive Student Entrepreneurship Grant will be awarding $20,000 of seed funding for participating schools as well as working with successful local entrepreneurs to provide further support and assistance. Each eligible applicant may apply for up to $5,000 of funding. At this time, we expect to award four grants of $5,000 each. For details, please visit the website at:
Proposals are due by 5PM on July 14th, 2018, and applicants will be notified of their award no later than August 1st, 2018. Funds will be provided no later than September 1st, 2018.

 The Old Mission Pennisula School is having their "Summer Day Camp" their mission is to help each camper

 build a sense of self, a sense of community and a sense of wonderful through fun and adventure in a outdoor

 environment.  Campers will be outside exploring and being creative the majority of the day.  Campers ages

 4-12 are invited to join.


  Location: Old Mission Peninsula School, 2699 Islandview Rd., Traverse City, MI


  Cost: $230 for a full week and $138 for 3 day option.

Frederic Satellite Meal on Friday, July 13th at 12:00pm at the Frederic Township Hall. The lunch includes Crispy Lemon Chicken Breast, Baked Sweet Potato, Peas, and a fresh Orange. Lunch is open to the public. The cost of the lunch is a suggested donation of $3.00 for those 60 and over and a $5.00 cost for those under 60. Step inside a colossal human heart and learn what makes it tick. Tour a mobile heart and vascular diagnostic unit that helps save lives across northern Michigan. Exercise on jump houses and enjoy tasty snacks. 
Friday, July 13 from 3-7 p.m. on the lawn of Pennsylvania Park in Petoskey.

“Dirty Laundry Monologues” for the benefit of HELPLINK Laundry Project
July 13, 2018 at 6:30 pm, Streeter’s Event Center in Traverse City, MI will host the 2nd Annual “Dirty Laundry Monologues,” a compilation of revealing stories and inspiring music, but your help is needed to make it happen! Produced by Sweet Chaos Theater Project, Dirty Laundry Monologues is sure to be an evening of laughter, tears, and cheers; but more importantly will support the HELPLINK Laundry Project.
The fundraiser will support the HELPLINK Laundry Project, which operates four free laundry events each month during the school year (September-May), enabling low income families, seniors, and those with disabilities to meet their basic laundry needs. Also, trained volunteers are on site to connect families with other necessary services.
