  All Day Student Entrepreneurship Grant Application DUE  
The Region 3 Collaborative Development Council (CDC) is excited to announce a youth program that will help demystify entrepreneurship. The CDC is seeking education and training partners who are interested in helping to provide middle and/or high school students with an experiential learning opportunity that would begin this fall. The CDC, through the Immersive Student Entrepreneurship Grant will be awarding $20,000 of seed funding for participating schools as well as working with successful local entrepreneurs to provide further support and assistance. Each eligible applicant may apply for up to $5,000 of funding. At this time, we expect to award four grants of $5,000 each. For details, please visit the website at:
Proposals are due by 5PM on July 14th, 2018, and applicants will be notified of their award no later than August 1st, 2018. Funds will be provided no later than September 1st, 2018.

The pet parlor will be open Saturday July 7th from 9-4 for nail trims teeth brushing and Retail. We will also be serving hot dogs chips and pop. Hot dogs are free with retail purchase or a nail trim. They can also be purchased separately. Come on out and check out our new summer retail stock, including life jackets, and join us for some lunch. Hot dogs will be served from 11 to 3: 30.

Crawford County Relay for Life! Saturday, July 14th from 10am to 11pm at the Grayling City Park . It’s to fight back against cancer! A 12 hour event raising money to fight back! We will be celebrating cancer survivors and remembering those we have lost. There will be games, activities, food. This is a family fun event.


This years theme is Christmas in July!

  Line up for participants starts at 9am at the Phoenix Park parking lot, and the parade begins at 10am.  Anyone

Hospice of Helping Hands are selling tickets for the Annual Duck Race Fundraiser 


A free event for the family in Irons Park on July 7th, 2018 from 12 to 1 pm. Proceeds will go for non-insured and underinsured patients as well as free community programs such as We Honor Veterans, Camp Warm Hearts Family Grief Camp. Cash prizes of $100, $50 and $25 go to the first three ducks that cross the finish line.


Contact one of our Hospice Of Helping Hands office at 4th and Houghton Avenue between 9 and 4 pm Monday thru Friday.


Tickets are only 3 for $5.00 each tickets will be sold through noon on the day of the race.

Elk Country Animal Shelter  in Atlanta, MI is  putting on a Benefit show with the Legend Brothers (Elvis Kelly--Elvis Tribute Artist), (Donny Rod--Rod Stewart Tribute Artist) and Special Guest Kelsey Rose--does Patsy Cline, Linda Ronstadt, Brenda Lee and more... she was on TV so you think you can dance.


It will be on July 7, 2018 at 5:30 dinner (Cash Bar), 7:00 show.
